GRANTS
The Friends of Music in Winchester provides small grants to assist young people resident in Hampshire with
music tuition fees and/or the purchase of instruments.
Upon completion of the application form, the trustees take up references and then consider the applicant’s particular needs. If found suitable for an award, the applicant is asked to complete a simple contract between themselves and the Charity, and then the award is made.

Helped to purchase a new upright piano for lunchtime concerts at the Hospital of St Cross.
Help with fees for HYCO Bryanston residential music course.
East Meon school trip. Travel costs for a performance in Portsmouth Cathedral
St Faiths’ School, Winchester for instrumental lessons for pupils
Grant for Romsey Chamber Music Festival
